Refuel is our High School Winter Retreat. After a long semester of sports, homework and tests-we offer this retreat as a time to get refocused on Christ and rest in Him. Refuel is a fun, relational, casual weekend where Reverb students can make new connection with each other and staff and build on old ones. Tim Cypert will be teaching and worship will be led by The Hayes Experience. This year it will be held at Collin County Adventure Camp, February 12-14 and will cost just $50! We have re-scheduled this event to allow a lower cost so that more students can get involved. If you are one of the many students we have that are somewhat new to our church, this event will help get the, plugged in! It is hard to get connected just coming to Reverb once a week-this retreat will help your student meet and get to know other students and our awesome staff! It may be freezing outside, but it is never too early to consider how your student will get involved with Reverb this summer! We have two big options-Mission: Camp Corpus Christi and Mission: NOLA. Both involve students engaging children and families in evangelistic conversations through fun activities, like sports, crafts and food. They may be different locations and different settings-but both offer challenging, faith-stretching opportunities to be used by God. The Corpus trip is set for June 13-18, 2010 and the New Orleans trips is July 25-31, 2010. Both trips are 300 dollars and for both trips students are encouraged to send out support letters to raise funds for these missions experiences. Both trips will offer teaching and worship, thus offering the "camp" atmosphere as well as the "mission trip" atmosphere-they are hybrid experiences that we hope will encourage students to understand that missions is a lifestyle, not an event! Registration forms will go out for these trips in January.

I hope your student has checked out AMPD, our Wednesday night event which starts at 6:30 every week. If they haven't, I would encourage you to take steps to get them there, I know once they try it they will want to come back.
